We have provided an HIG 2008 Pre-Proposal Template for your convenience.

Sign-off sheet information:

All proposals must be accompanied by an editable sign-off sheet, which is to be faxed to (614) 340-6082. Sign-off sheets may additionally be scanned and emailed with your proposal, however faxing the sheet serves as a cross reference of your submittal, in case your emailed pre-proposal is inadvertently screened by our spam filters.

Submission Procedure:

Each e-mail should contain no more than one proposal. If you are submitting multiple proposals, use separate e-mails.

We request that the PI use his/her own e-mail to send the proposal. Mismatching between sender name and proposal PI name may cause delay in the review, as we process many proposals.

The proposal file should be attached in the e-mail, and named using this file-naming convention (important: 60 characters max.):

lastname.institution.Title_three_words.HIG08

where

  • lastname is the last name of the first PI
  • institution is the university to which the first PI belongs (words may be truncated/abbreviated)
  • Title_three_words  is the first 3 words of your title – leaving out “a”, “an” or “the”

Send to (before midnight April 28,  2008) hondainitiationgrant@honda.com.

Note: To combat e-mail spam, only submissions originating from e-mail domains .edu, .org, or .ca will be accepted. Submissions from other domains will be rejected by our spam filters.
